NYC

I've never been. Matt and I both have some PTO we have to use during 1Q, and we could use an adult getaway, so we're thinking about going. Where should we stay? What should we do? I'm feeling a little anxious about leaving the babies for three nights...is two nights silly? That would really only give us one day there.

I've never been! I would try to do three nights though! I have done one night in Chicago and really it isn't worth it. It is just exhausting! If you really want some adult time to reconnect, I would go for three! :)

I totally understand about not wanting to leave your kids that long though. I have had to travel for work a few times this year and I think the anticipation is always worse than the reality of it. And they are always so excited to see me when I return!

I loved NYC but it will be F&CKING COLD up there between now and at LEAST March, so be prepared for that. I'd rather go to like...LA or San Fran or something warmer but that's me.
Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.

LOL! It's a 2 hour direct flight for $150 to NYC, and 5 1/2 hours and $500 for LA. ;)

Gosh, I haven't been on here in a LONG time. . .

Did you go already?! Or, are you going?!

I LOVE NYC!! Yes, it is cold, but I loved it. I have been twice, and both times were in December/January. We were there when it was freeeeeeeezing cold one year, standing outside for 8+ hours for New Years, and I don't regret it for one second!

We didn't go! I couldn't commit to three nights away, and didn't want to go to NYC for less than that. Plus, it's cold! So we're heading to Charleston for a night next Thursday. I'm really looking forward to it!
