I always say by the ocean! I feel at peace when I am near the ocean.

In reality, I would stay right where I am. Being close to family and friends is the most important factor for me.

Sometimes I wish I would have gone to law school or undergrad on a coast, but now that I have kids I love that we get to see family so often (sometimes too often...).

As I get older, I feel like I need water nearby. Maybe it's something about the existential but I feel drawn to it. But saying that I'm not a hot weather person. I'd love to live in the NE near the coast or along the Northern California coast. I have also said I'd always move to Dublin!
Danny: [after a boy goes missing at Yankee Stadium] This would've never happened at Shea.
Vivian: It's so sad how bitter Mets fans are.

Northern California, SF or preferably a wine valley, or back to Chicago. Or maybe Italy.

If it wasn't for all of our family here I find no draw/loyalty to Missouri itself, nor do I feel like the majority of the area aligns with the values I prefer my children to be raised with... Plus, I HATE being hot & humid. I'm not hating on it completely. We live in a wonderful community and it would be hard to leave our area and school, but... yeah. California or Chicago (Or Italy, if international) would be more in line with what I'm looking for if family wasn't a major consideration. I'm sure there would be some other areas in the Northwest or East Coast I could love too, I just haven't had time to explore many cities in those areas.

I loved the Denver area, but it was getting so crowded and expensive. Still, the scenery was gorgeous, it had a great range of weather, and loads to do. The schools in our town were good, and the people are very friendly.

That said, I do love where we live now too. It's a beautiful area, the people are friendly, and the schools are great. Plus Europe is on our doorstep. However, it's hard to be this far from family, and there are things that are different from the US that I miss. I don't think a perfect place exists for me personally.

Probably San Francisco or NYC (maybe I can be bicoastal.)
Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.

I would like to live in London for a couple of years. I love the history and accents. In general though, I am pretty happy being in small town USA with family nearby.

Colorado. I love the mountains and all the outdoor options. Plus the climate is so much drier!
