Sloppy Joes

93% Lean Ground Beef, 16 oz (I will sometimes mix half turkey, half beef)
1/2 med onion diced
1/2 green bell pepper diced
1/2 cup ketchup
8 oz tomato sauce
1/4 cup barbque sauce
Chili powder, 1 tsp (I sometimes add a little more)
dash of black pepper to taste

Add beef, onion and green pepper to skillet and saute until beef is brown. Drain. Add back to skillet and
remaining ingredients stirring until mixed well. Let simmer 10 minutes then serve on "healthy life" low cal buns.

Number of Servings: 4

BudgetFriendly, FreezerFriendly, KidFriendly, LowCalorie, LowFat, PreCook, NoBake, QuickEasy
Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.
