SLAW

Postby bride2009 » Mon Jul 28, 2014 10:29 am

Anybody want to share slaw recipes? I always buy a bag of slaw and then throw it away because I never like my dressings whether it be vinegar/oil based or mayo based. I like both but if someone can share one they like, I'd appreciate it!!!

This is a favorite. I use the bagged slaw. http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2010/07/re ... h.html?m=1

This one is good too. http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2011/05/re ... o.html?m=1

For mayo dressing I use the recipe on the bag but use light miracle whip. Adding celery seed really makes it yummy!

For a sweet slaw - bag of cabbage, one can of drained mandarin oranges, one small can drained pineapple tidbits and Hendrickson's sweet vinegar dressing (probably about half a bottle).

I use a bag of cole slaw mix, then add 1/3 cup mayo, 1/3 cup vinegar, and salt/pepper/garlic powder to taste.

1/2 cup green pepper, cut finely
1/2 cup dark vinegar
1/2 cup oil
1 cup raw sugar
