This is NWR, but the board is DIY, so I thought it fits. I posted this photo on Facebook and on my blog, but thought I'd list it here, too, because it's not every day that my attempts at being crafty are successful, LOL.

I found this blog post on Pinterest and knew I wanted to do something like this for my own earrings and necklaces. I had an old frame, and after visits to ten stores (seriously) looking for chicken wire by the foot (not by the roll), I had this:

Very cool! I need to do something like this for my jewelry. (I have it in a jewelry box and I forget to wear it.) If I can see it out on display I'd probably remember I have it. :)

Very cool! Where did you end up finding the chickenwire?

At the St. Peters Co-Op. I went to Home Depot, Lowe's, True Value, Michaels, Hobby Lobby... Seriously ALL. OVER. TOWN.

I'm really glad someone tipped me off to there, too, because I was very close to just biting the bullet and buying a whole roll -- I'm a teacher, I could find another use for it, right? That would have been $8-12. I ended up paying, like, 50 cents for the foot I needed. Woo hoo!

Very cool! I'm making a similiar project and didn't even think to use chicken wire. I bought some screening from Home Depot and also a crochet thing from Hobby Lobby...if either of those don't work I will check out chicken wire. Cool project!
