DIY UNITY CANDLE

Postby bride2009 » Wed Jan 28, 2009 9:17 am

I got this idea from Previous Post, although I did not copy it entirely

Bought Vellum (sp) paper, all the candles, and ribbon from Hobby Lobby and found the G on the internet and copied it into word.

Looks great! I love the wrapped ribbon on the tapers, nice touch!

I love the candle. I have been pondering this idea of making my own unity candle. I had a question about how you kept the vallum paper together. What kind of adhesive did you use to join the two ends?

I used double sided sticky tape to attached everything to the candle.
