I'm way late on adding mine, just the e-ring no wedding band yet.

I've posted my e-ring before, but just got my wedding bands. It took me a long time to decide, since FI designed the e-ring and there wasn't a pre-made matching wedding band. But I love the final look.

It's so awesome to finally get to add to this post!
My ring belonged to FI's great-grandmother and it isn't very big but the stone is flawless! :good:

Beautiful! I LOVE the sentimental value attached to rings like that.

Let's see if I can figure out this photo posting thing...

I know some will view this as unromantic, but Tony and I designed my e-ring together through an online jeweler. We had some photos of a ring we liked, but we wanted some design changes to it, so were able to see the CAD drawings and tweak it until it was perfect. It was fun to collaborate on it together!

It was definitely a leap of faith, since you really have to use your imagination with the CAD drawings, but the final product was better than I imagined. To keep a tiny element of surprise, I did not see it in person until the day Tony proposed. He made me climb a mountain to get it (behind Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO), so my had is a little swollen in the first pic. My avatar pic is from right after the proposal.

Image

I love the shape. It's supposed to make the ring not spin around on your finger as much, but I just think it makes it look unique.

And one last one - the professional picture the jeweler took before sending it to its new home!

I see you got that from WF. They did a great job on your ring. I can't believe I am saying this out loud but... I hope your ring holds up for a lifetime. Mine didn't make it 2 weeks. Neither did any of the replacements. I am hopeful that by now (over 3 years later) they have figured out how to cast things correctly. The way your stones are set lead me to believe that maybe yours will be fine.

I hope that doesn't sound totally rude and ignorant, it's not intended to be. I am still ridiculously bitter about that situation, especially how they treated me after they botched so many attempts and wouldn't take responsibility for their errors without being put on the spot. Then they violated the terms of our settlement within 30 seconds of signing it. I can't totally berate them--they did stay in Houston during a hurricane evacuation trying to remake the ring again and while I appreciated that immensely, and kept the secret of where he evacuated to, it still had the same issues. The whole situation really stuck with me.

BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait to see it in real life! :-) Have you thought about what kind of ring you will get to go with it?

I like the look of all those tiny diamonds together. Maybe just a simple band the same size diamonds. With a wider band that lays flatter against my finger.

Not unromantic at all! I think it's a nice to have a final product that both of you worked on. We looked for my ring together and I feel like it makes it more special cause it's the ring we both loved.

And that shape stopping spinning sounds great! Now that it's getting colder mine is spinning like crazy. I hope everything works out for your ring!
