St. Charles/O'Fallon wedding venue help

Postby 2BBlue » Tue Jun 16, 2015 2:06 pm

My youngest sister is getting married in 2016 or 2017. She wants it to be in the St. Charles/O'Fallon/Wentzville area. The only place I can think of is Quail Ridge, but certainly there must be other places! Help, please! TIA!

Reception, ceremony, or both? The Foundry is a fantastic reception place. I think there's a new-ish place around there that also does receptions, and there's a ceremony place nearby, too. There's the chapel in New Town, and a few reception hall places out that way, too.

Great question, sorry you had to ask! She's not picky, she says. Personally, I think it'd be best if they were both in the same place or really close.

There's Triggs in O'fallon. I've been there for just receptions and also for one wedding and reception. We had our reception at the firefighters hall in St. Peters and I would highly recommend them, they were awesome (at least when we got married they were). Off the service road in O'fallon there's a place that used to be called The Christy, the place is still there just not sure if it's still the same name or not. There's the Conservatory in St. Charles and then The Foundry I don't think is far from that. Hmmm, I'll have to keep thinking on this because I know there's more.

St. Charles:

-Stegtons
-Heart of St. Charles ballrooms
-The Columns
- The Foundry
- The Conservatory - wedding only
- Ameristar casino - they have ballrooms and also even space that used to be HOME nightclub
-new-ish hotel off of Hwy 70 near Main Street - can't remember the name. they have a lot of convetions there. Embassy Suites?
- Cottleville Wine Seller - I went to a wedding here and it was really pretty. Can also have reception here I believe.
- Old Hickory golf course - can have wedding on golf course or inside and reception can be inside. I have seen indoor and outdoor wedding here - both nice.
- Bogey Hills Country Club

Was just going to add this one as well...we live there now and the clubhouse and reception area is beautiful. I think for there and Bogey and Old Hickory you may have to have a member sponsor you.

Ditto the Foundry Art Centre. I had my reception there.

I always drive by the new place in downtown St. Charles on Main Street called Old Stone Chapel. It looks so nice.

The Conservatory or Foundry Art Centre. If you want to go a bit further, there are some pretty places in Innsbrook/Hermann.

We didn't need a sponsor, but that was way back in 2008. :) They were great to work with, by the way!

I think The Columns is no longer, I believe there's some medical building going in that site, just not sure when that's due to begin. I was going to suggest the Old Stone Chapel and the Heart of St. Charles as well. Both are nice and close together. We had our reception at Stegtons and it's nice enough, affordable and pretty inclusive. :good:

This is great, thanks, ladies! I sent a list to her. It's selfish, but I'm not telling her about this board.
