Shower Venues

Postby kjm26 » Mon Jan 19, 2015 10:10 am

Good Morning!
I am trying to find an indoor venue for my sister-in-laws wedding shower. Anybody have a venue they used or have been to which you could suggest?
I have looked at a few restaurants and I feel I can do everything myself cheaper.

I threw a shower at Jilly's cupcake bar. It was really nice! Not necessarily "cheap" but by the time you figured in the time and energy of shopping, cooking, cleaning etc, it was worth it!

I've thrown a few showers in my church's fellowship hall (which is much more cozy than what might spring to mind when you hear that term). Perhaps someone you know can hook you up?

We had a baby shower at Wildwood Pub & grill in the private room. It was very reasonable!

I second Cyrano's. I threw my sister's shower there and the private room was great.

Ditto this. We had my SILs wedding shower here and it was great! Food was good and of course the cupcakes are amazing!

I'm looking for event space for a birthday lunch for my daughter and contacted Jilly's. Here's the e-mail I just got:

Thank you for your interest in Jilly’s Cupcake Bar and Café event space.

We have several options depending on how many people will be attending and whether or not you would like a private room or just enough space to have a sprinkle party (decorating individual cupcakes).

There is no room rental fee for a sprinkle party of up to 15 people and it is 10$ per person which includes the cupcake and all the necessary fixings and a drink.

Our catering menus very from nuts and pizzas to full blown buffet style catering.

In the event you would rent the room for up to 50 people the room rental rate is $100 per hour with a two hour minimum and a $600 minimum food purchase.

All parties are subject to tax and a 20% service charge.

Please feel free to contact me at the number below for further information.

Again, thank you for your interest in Jilly’s Cupcake Bar and Café, and I look forward to working with you on your event!
