Someone bought something off our registry!

Postby AshleyH » Thu Jan 02, 2014 3:35 pm

And it wasn't my parents (they used it for Christmas gift inspiration). I am perpetually tinkering with our registries, adding, moving, and removing an dhappened to notice today that we have four items completed on our crate and barrel registry. I'm resisting the temptation to look at the thank you manager to see who it was, but I have a pretty good feeling it's FI's uncle. Now I just have to wait forever to get the items (some of our wusthof knives!). Exciting (and generous!)!

How exciting!!! I remember that thrill. I wish someone would by something off my registry... Six years later.
I like to picture Jesus in a tuxedo t-shirt. It says, "I want to be formal but I'm here to party."

Squeal!!! How exciting!!

I want good knives. I'm an awful chopper, but I maintain it's because our knives our terrible. Also, I'm not coordinated. But it's mainly because of the knives. :)

How exciting!! I remember those feelings fondly! When my best friend got married last fall I even stalked her registry to see what was being purchased... and continued to be just as excited when she received it all at her shower and wedding! Such fun times :love4:

I loved stalking our registry too. I felt sort of guilty about it but it was so much fun!

So fun! I remember that, as well. I definitely debated between wanting it all to be a surprise (as much as receiving gifts off a registry can be), and wanting to stalk it every day! But like you, I was checking them frequently to keep them updated, so seeing purchases was inevitable. It means you're getting close!! :yahoo:

I always stalked our registry. I think it helps to manage the price range of gifts (at least that is what I told myself  ).
