Venue - City Cottage

A place for St. Louis Brides & Grooms to brainstorm about their weddings

Venue - City Cottage

DH and I are {probably} attending an event next month at City Cottage. I'd never heard of it, but it looks really nice. I know the "style" now is pretty modern, and this is definitely not, but it looks like a gorgeous space!

I think that's beautiful! You need to go and tell us if it lives up to the pictures! ;)

Oh, wow, that is so pretty! It's so cozy looking. I love exposed brick, so I really like that a lot!

Yes! I've not heard of that space yet but it looks awesome.

I've been to a work party at the City Cottage and it was really neat. I loved the space - it is a space that feels upscale but not uncomfortably fancy - more cozy. At my event, they had people outside on the patio making wood fire pizzas to order.

The only downside I could see is that it is fairly small and gets congested if you have too many people so it would be best for a small, intimate wedding.

We just went here for a Sunday brunch wedding reception here and it was wonderful! The space is beautiful and it has a nice outdoor area. The food was SOOO good - consistent with the other Catering St. Louis events I've been to!

We are having our wedding here next year. The venue is gorgeous in person. The pictures do not do it justice. I loved it when I saw pictures and we were sold when we took the tour.

My sister had her wedding here in April 2013. It was great for a small wedding. They finished up the new outside ceremony area either the night before or day of her wedding - they were still working at the rehearsal!
